Toby Scott-Cross is a Clinical Instructor in the OS/OT program and the Assistant Academic Fieldwork Coordinator.  She also serves as an advisor and instructor in the Horse, Humans and Health program, an interdisciplinary minor program with classes in the occupational science, recreation therapy, psychology, animals studies and agriculture departments.  She comes to this position with experience in upper extremity rehabilitation, work hardening and conditioning, sports rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation and equine facilitated therapeutic interventions.  She holds a Deep Physical Agent Modalities certification through the State of Kentucky as well as certifications in Functional Capacity Evaluations and Post Offer Employment Testing through WorkSteps and SFMA Level I and Y-Balance certifications through Functional Movement Systems.  Her clinical interests included post surgical intervention and education, sports rehabilitation and equine facilitated therapy including hippotherapy.  She is currently enrolled in the EKU Post Professional Doctorate program.  She lives with her husband and step daughter on a small cattle farm and raises horses, goats, dogs and chickens.
