MS in OT Degree
The MS in OT program is being phased out. Pre-Occupational Science majors who apply in March 2020 for the BS in Occupational Science program will be the last class who will graduate with an MS in OT.
Senior Occupational Science Majors seeking entrance into MS in OT Degree:
In the senior year of the BS in Occupational Science program students may choose to apply to the graduate program in occupational therapy. Enrollment in the MS in OT program is limited. Completion of the BS in Occupational Science does not guarantee admission into the graduate program.
The admission application deadline for BSOS seniors who are applying to the MS in OT program is February 1st.
Admission is competitive and based on:
- GPA (last 60 hours plus pre-requisites)
- (3) Recommendation Forms (you will need to submit 3 emails)
- Health Science Reasoning Test (HSRT)
***Professional level graduates must apply for licensure and/or certification prior to practicing in any state. A criminal record (excluding minor traffic violations) may make a person ineligible for national certification examination and/or licensure or state certification for practice. Students with such a history should contact NBCOT and relevant licensing or certifying bodies prior to enrollment to determine their situation.
