**Please note viewers may need to allow the browser to run an “add-on” or “plug-in” in order to get the presentation to load. In Internet Explorer, there will be a yellow bar across the top of the screen. Click “yes” to allow the add-on to load. Mozilla Firefox will say the content requires a “plug-in”. Look for the button at the top of the screen to get the plug-in. Google chrome asks to get a plug-in. Press “allow”. Contact Elaine Fehringer at Elaine.firstname.lastname@example.org if you need further assistance. This is a big file so it may take 20-30 seconds to load and for my voice to start.
Thank you for viewing this module that describes the EKU Occupational Therapy Curriculum Design. It will take you about 40 minutes to watch the streaming video and 20 minutes to complete the fillable Word Document that helps the Fieldwork Office understand the learning opportunities your site offers that align with our curriculum design. Please download the Word document at the end of the streaming video, save it to your computer desktop, fill it out, save it again and then email it to me as an attachment: Elaine.Fehringer@eku.edu. When your Site Alignment Word document is received, the Fieldwork Office will send you a certificate for 1 CCU (Continuing Competence Unit) as defined by the Kentucky Licensure Act. This CCU will also translate into a PDU to re-certify with NBCOT.
Please review the OT Curricula Model presentation before completing the Site Alignment with Curriculum Model form & the AOTA Fieldwork Data Form.
